About The College
The Athalye-Sapre-Pitre (ASP) College was established in 1972 with the vision of providing affordable higher education to the youth of Sangmeshwar Tehsil. The college began with two Bachelor’s programs in Arts and Commerce, laying the foundation for academic excellence from its inception. This commitment to quality education was further demonstrated when we launched our first Ph.D. program in Marathi.
Over the years, our institution has evolved and expanded, earning a reputation as a center of excellence in education.

Devrukh Shikshan Prasarak Mandal (DSPM) was founded with the commencement of New English School, Devrukh, in the year 1927. This establishment of DSPM, further on, marked the beginning of Athalye- Sapre-Pitre (ASP) College in the year 1972 with a vision to provide higher education for youths in Sangmeshwar Tehsil at a minimal cost.
