About Department
The Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE) at ASP College, Devrukh has been effectively functioning for the past 15 years. This department undertakes various projects in alignment with the guidelines provided by the University of Mumbai, selecting from seven available projects based on the number of participating students. These projects encompass a wide range of activities, including surveys, street plays, public awareness campaigns, health awareness initiatives, lectures, discussions, poster presentations, essay and oratory competitions, and skill development programs.
Each year, the college actively engages in projects centered on themes such as women’s social status, environmental and health awareness, employment opportunities, and personality development. These initiatives are conducted with a clear focus on social impact and community engagement.
In recent years, the department has placed greater emphasis on health awareness, the social development of women, and the implementation of skill-based curricula. Many programs have been successfully organized under these themes, aimed at fostering positive changes in society while providing students with practical experience in social service and community outreach.
