Devrukh Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, established in 1927, is one of the leading educational institutions in the Konkan region of Maharashtra. Buildings of the schools and colleges of DSPM are housed in 14 acres of campus. Nearly 3800 students from various villages of the tehsil are learning in these institutions. The total teaching and non-teaching staff is nearly 140. A total more than 100 computers are available in the branches of DSPM. Also, the entire office of all units work is computerized. ASP College has well-equipped laboratories of Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Computer Science, Geography and Vocational Courses. Seven students have successfully obtained Ph.D. degree in Marathi from S.B. Athalye Postgraduate Research Centre affiliated to the University of Mumbai.
