About Internship Cell
According to the National Education Policy 2020, the Internship Cell was established on 10th July 2024, as per Maharashtra Government Decision No. NEP- 2024/Pro. No. 11 Vishi-3, dated 5th Feb 2024 In line with the guidelines outlined in Circular No. 3, the college constituted a committee based on this notification.
The Internship Cell is an essential unit within an academic institution, designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Its primary role is to facilitate internships, which are short-term work experiences offered by organizations, giving students the opportunity to gain practical exposure in their field of study. Internship (On-Job Training Program) 2024-25 - Semester 6
For the Academic Year 2024-25, instructions for students of the Second Year Arts, Commerce, Science, Computer Science, and Professional Courses:
- Special Notice for Students Entering Third Year in 2025-26: Students who will enter the third year of Arts, Commerce, Science, Computer Science, and Professional Courses in the academic year 2025-26 should take special note that their Semester 6 examination includes an internship (on-job training program) worth 4 credits. A copy of the Maharashtra Government decision issued on 5th February 2024 has been provided here for reference.
- On-Job Training Program Requirement: Each subject teacher must ensure that students complete a 120-hour, 4-credit on-job training course as part of this program.
- Instructions from Teachers: Students should follow the specific instructions given by their subject teachers regarding this program.
- Mandatory Completion: It is mandatory to complete this course by strictly following the instructions provided by the respective teachers.
Students are advised to study the attached government decision to make it easier to complete this course next year.
