About the Department

The Department of Computer Science was established on 14th July 2005. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Mr. Achyut Godbole, a prominent Indian businessman, writer, and former CEO of Patni Computer Systems.

Initially, the Computer Science course was offered at the graduate level (B.Sc.) in combination with Mathematics and Physics. In the academic year 2017-18, a new curriculum featuring all Computer Science subjects was introduced.

Specialty of the Department:

All classrooms are equipped with facilities for teaching and learning activities using laptops and LCD projectors.
The department has two computer labs with 45 computers, ensuring that each student has access to a separate computer for practical work.
The library is well-stocked with sufficient books, accessible to both students and teachers as needed.
Modern teaching methods, including PowerPoint presentations and video lectures, are used when appropriate.
Experienced and Qualified Faculty: The department boasts a team of experienced and highly qualified faculty members who are dedicated to providing quality education and fostering student growth.
